Meet your guide and driver at the port who will transfer you to the first destination that promises not to let you down – Otaru Music Box Museum. Home to over 25,000 music boxes, this museum is distinct for its unique histories and elegant western-influenced architecture with creaking wooden floorboards and shining ornaments. Here you can find some of Otaru’s oldest musical devices ranging from the 19th-century French music boxes to grand English organs and pianos. Upon the second floor, you may emerge in the beauty of antique phonographs and furniture for hours. There’s also a roof space available for anyone who would like to design their own music boxes.

Then head straight to the main highlight of the whole city – Otaru Canal you can spend time walking along the canal under the light of antique gas lamps, enjoying works presented by their artists as well as taking some pictures of this romantic atmosphere to reminisce about how amazing your vacation was.

En route, visit Herring Mansions - a large preserved herring mansion dating back to the end of the 19th century. It was built by wealthy fishermen to process the fish and as a residence for themselves and their employees. Inside the mansion are displays of fishermen's tools and living conditions opened to the public. Trip ends. Complete the journey with return transport to the port.
