Full Itinerary
Start your nice morning with our local guide by the first stop in Fukuoka – Kushida-jinja Shrine that was established in 757 in Hakata. As the crucial trade point among Japan, Korea, and China, the shrine is an amazing and unique place with every corner, despite its limited grounds.
Then, we will visit the Machiya Folk Museum holding the quintessence of Hakata. New Year’s Festival and Summer Festival are two magnificent ones displayed in the museum. Also, you can discover the exhibits with a variety of artwork and craft since Meiji and Taisho periods with unique photos about samurai.
A visit to Japanese-style castles is indispensable in any Japan shore excursion. We will explore Fukuoka Castle which has nice walking trails, white-painted Japanese architecture style with tile-roof and admires the beauty of cherry blossom surroundings.
Our next place is Ohori Park where you can indulge in the stunning water park. Take a stroll along the stone bridges to three islands and breathe in peaceful large-scale garden and serene atmosphere. Take a step on the land of the highest tower – Fukuoka Tower 234 meters that you can see in anywhere in the city. You can admire the majestic panoramic view over the city and Hakata Bay when reaching the tower. The trip now ends when returning back to the port.
