Full Itinerary

On arrival at Kumamoto port, welcomed by our guide with welcome-board and driver who will transfer you to the very first place of the tour – Kumamoto Castle – one of the most imposing in Japan with large castle grounds and plenty of buildings embraced by cherry blossom trees.

Head to Sakuranobaba Johsaien Castle Town – a tourist spot offering a number of fascinating areas for visitors to explore. Browser through the Sakuranokouji historical castle area featuring shops and restaurants to shopping for souvenirs that are unique to Kumamoto Prefecture and enjoy Kumamoto’s distinctive food culture.

This Kumamoto shore excursion cannot be finished without a visit to Suizenji Jojuen Garden – one of the most majestic Japanese-style gardens in the country. Take a leisure walk along the circular path, breath the fresh air, and soak up the idyllic scenery of green grassland, little scattered rocks, and a cool pond in the garden.
