Full Itinerary

Upon arrival at the port, our local guide will welcome you and we will move to Kaigan-Dori, then taking a 25-minute tram to Hiroshima station. Spend some time on Sanyo train to Iwakuni, we go to Miyajima-guchi by a coach. On the ferry to Miyajima, you will enjoy a scenic view for your relaxation. Our first spot in your excursion is Kintaikyo Bridge – known as Iwakuni's most distinguished landmark. With an elegant wooden structure, the bridge becomes the most renowned landmark for many years in the city. Especially, it has five bold arches with enormous stone pillars over the idyllic Nishiki River.

Next, passing the bridge, we will reach Yoshika Park with the beauty of fully bloomed cherry trees, especially in the spring when you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the park. Then, we will take the ropeway to the Iwakuni Castle - a mountain castle built by Hiroie Kitsukawa and the first feudal lord of Iwakuni.

Iwakuni Castle has not only Mount Shiroyama as an insurmountable wall but also Nishiki River as a long moat. Standing on the fourth floor of the structure, you will have a chance to indulge in the picturesque scenery of the whole city. Moreover, discover the artifacts surrounding such as ancient samurai swords, armor standing for the city evolvement.

Continue our visit to White-snake Shrine, or also called Shirohebi Ryokan. The place is as a home to white snake species regarded as the beneficial and good fortune summoning guardian. We will go on to Kodama Bullet Train to Hiroshima station. Last but not least, take a tram to Kaigan-Dori and have a walk back to your port.
